Jephthah’s daughter: Whoever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me . . . shall be the Lord’s, to be offered up by me as a burnt offering. . . . At the end of two months, she returned to her father, who did with her according to the vow he had made.
Abraham and Isaac: Take your son . . . and offer him there as a burnt offering.
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother . . . all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die.

And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
The hands of compassionate women have boiled their own children; they became their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people.
